COMMERCIAL GATE UPDATE: The installation commercial gate is open to non-mission/non-service essential personnel Mon thru Fri, 6 am - 2 pm. After these hours, RVs and trailered items may only enter through the south gate if size permits.

Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources. Hard copies of this report can be obtained at the Child Development Center, |Airman & Family Readiness and the Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight located at building 1366. ABOUT
Located directly along the historic Banana River, the campground currently has 156 full-service sites with 30/50 amp capability, ten primitive camping sites, two laundry and shower facilities, a 24-hour community center and a private beach. Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis with the exception of active duty personnel. Potential guests are highly encouraged to call ahead and inquire about availability during the months of November thru February when the campground traditionally maintains close to full capacity. For detailed information about the campgroundās policies, amenities, programs and services, please refer to the brochure specific to this facility.The Manatee Cove Family Campground proudly serves all military and Department of Defense ID cardholders. Please be advised, priority placement is given to active duty and family members and to retirees who have served 20 or more years in the Service. Reservations are available for active duty personnel and will be accepted not less than 30 days in advance. All others will be placed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please review the guest rules (link @ top) prior to arrival. Prior to check-in please have a copy of your current vehicle registration, proof of insurance and if you have pets, it is mandatory to have a valid current rabies certificate. Please note we have a maximum two pet policy.

Thank you for your patronage in the Manatee Cove Campground. The maximum length of uninterrupted stay in the campground shall be 170 days. Guests shall then vacate the campground for a minimum period of 48 hours. The campground may not be used to establish residency in the State of Florida. Return to the campground shall be based on site availability with the exception of active duty personnel who shall be placed back into the campground upon request. This change enables Outdoor Recreation to be compliant with State residency mandates and Air Force policy. Guests are reminded the Chevron Park parking lot is an approved overnight rest area and is not permitted for use as an overflow area for the campground. Active duty personnel shall provide a minimum of 30 days advance notice for reservations. We highly encourage more advance notice when possible to ensure placement in the campground when desired. Other guests will not be directed to leave the campground to accommodate an active duty member.
